Treasury of Literature (Out of This World)
Used this book in a Masters level class on power generation and transmission but found the book to be very difficult to follow even though titled as the "first course" on this subject. It jumps right into math that requires calculus, trigonometry, and electronics mastery (if you don't have a solid understanding of complex numbers, forget it.)Cited by: 6.
An excellent textbook for students studying the foundations of mathematics and mathematical proofs, A First Course in Mathematical Logic and Set Theory is also appropriate for readers preparing for careers in mathematics education or computer science. In addition, the book is ideal for introductory courses on mathematical logic and/or set theory and appropriate for upper-undergraduate transition courses Cited by: 1.

Upper Saddle River, NJ This book is intended as an elementary introduction to the theory of probability. Education is by far one of the best books by Ellen White that I have read up to this point.
Of course, I have not read very many of her books, and I read them very slowly so as to better understand. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this book. Her lessons were very well illustrated and biblically-based, and I gained a lot of knowledge from this book/5. The book is good for a first course as the title suggests. However, the Kindle edition (the product I am reviewing) is absymmal.
